Crying Wolf Industries

"Where every day is a disaster and nothing useful ever gets done."

My new corporate logo. Not sure if the bosses will go for it.

Bill the Lion

Bill the Lion

Corporate sellout illustration

I didn't create this charming mascot, I just had to give him a new pose to show that he's smart from drinking milk. Guess what kind of product it's for? I'll give you a hint - it's milk.

Guess what team my nephew plays for?

Brochure cover

Client: Leading by Example

The companion piece to the business card. Sure it's dry, but you don't want a whole bunch of candy colored nonsense to represent your consultants.

Business card

Business card

Client: Leading by Example

A business card design for an educational consulting firm. Not much else to say about it.

Drink Tank logo

Drink Tank logo

Client: The Drink Tank

An internet podcast for drinkers about drinking hosted by a bunch of drunks. They wanted it classed up with that Vegas feel but that didn't stop their filthy mouths from bringing that class level right back down again.

The Grotto logo

The Grotto logo

Client: potfolio

Yeah, this wasn't for a real place or thing. I don't even know what the Grotto was supposed to be. A club maybe? Could have been a dish soap for all I know. I just wanted to do something with that graphic style dragon icon I drew.

Lawnmower ad

Lawnmower ad

Client: portfolio

This was just a mockup of a full page ad to show a prospective employer that I could do it. I never got that job, but I always liked this piece. To give you an idea of how old it is, I made it in Quark.

Mushroom menu back

Mushroom menu back

Client: Starr Restaurants

The reverse of the mushroom ad. The pink one really was supposed to be a mushroom, despite what it looks like. Guess I have a one track mind.

HBS logo

HBS logo

Client: Harebrained Schemes

This is kind of disturbing but neat at the same time. The client wanted a realistic looking brain but still wanted it to be playful. Kind of a tall order. And why is this the third thing in here to feature a brain? I don't even like drawing brains.

KEY logo

KEY logo

Client: I don't remember

This was designed for another educational consulting firm. I never got paid for it though.

Mushroom menu

Mushroom menu

Client: Starr Restaurants

Way back when he actually worked in his namesake's Philadelphia restaurant, chef Morimoto used to create monthly tasting menus using a different key ingredient as the base for each course. This was the advertisement for the mushroom menu.

Pumpkin menu

Pumpkin menu

Client: Starr Restaurants

The pumpkin menu ended up being one of my favorites. The drawing is a bit clunky and the font is terrible, but the color palette came out perfectly.

Slipshod logo

Client: Slipshod productions

True to their name, this company disappeared soon after I did this logo for them. I seem to have a lot of those stories don't I?

Anonymous Store logo

Anonymous Store logo

Client: Anonymous Store

This online business tanked before it even started. Story of my life. At least I got another fun logo out of it. That kid was my Facebook profile pic for like 8 months.
